Unarmed combat idea......

Right now, unarmed combat consists of 3 main sections.

1) Unskilled attacks - Brawling essentially

2)Basic Skilled -- Lesser attacks that are not part of a specific style, and are known just from getting the Combat:Unarmed skill.

3) Style Attacks -- separated into specific styles


so........

My idea is to take the specific attacks
Punch
Kick
Grapple/Joint Lock
Arm Sweep
Legsweep
Throw
Haymaker

And give them each a basic definition, and then provide a Skilled and Unskilled set of modifiers for each.

And then for the Styles could be something like this (changes are in red, and/or have strike thru for things to be removed).

Martial Arts Strikes Krima Du
This Martial Arts Style is comprised almost solely on punching and kicking and lends itself to aggressive attacks over defense. It is often used as the basis for more advanced styles. This style uses the Punch, Kick, and Haymaker attacks. Kicks using this style gain an additional +1 to their initiative. All 3 attacks have their Damage Rating increase by 2 points.

Tier 1 - The character is able to make 2 attacks each round. The second attack uses the Attack Bonus with a -2 modifier. Instead of making the second attack, the character may parry with it, gaining his Unarmed skill (no stats and with a -2 modifier as noted above) as a bonus to his DT for the round. The 2 attacks need not be against the same foe, but the character must be able to reach both foes with the attacking. The character also gains 2 points per Tier to use on Weapon Kata. These points may be saved and used larger weapons as Weapon Katas.

Tier 2 - The character gains a +2 modifier to his DT. This also applies when using the Dodge and Dive for Cover moves. This modifier is only gained when using this style or one based on/requiring it.

Tier 3 - The character is able to make three attacks per round. Both the second and third attack each round receive a -2 modifier. If the character only performs 2 attacks in a round, the modifier for the second attack is reduced to -1. All attacks using this style gain another +2 to the Damage Rating (+4 total), and Kicks gain another +1 to their Initiative.

Tier 4 - The character is able to perform an Iron Palm attack. This attack requires a Full Action to perform, and if successful the foe must make a Reflexes Save (TN 18 + character's attacker's Str) or be knocked prone. One Kata weapon may add its full DR to the DR of any attacks made using it when using this style.

Tier 5 - The character is able to do a Stunning Strike. This attack requires a Full Action to perform and if the attack is successful, the foe must make a Stamina Save (TN 20 + character's attacker's Str) or be Stunned for 1 round for every point that the Save is failed by. A second Weapon Kata may add its full DR to the DR of any attacks made with it when using this style.

Just realized that there is some discord between the Actions listed in the Combat Round section and the various Combat Action listed later on.

I need to sync the two so that they are all properly covered.
