Welcome to the seventh issue of Express Additions. As always, our primary goal here is to expand the core rules of Fantasy Express with options and/or additional material that we could not fit into the core rules, or that we did not think of before publishing the core rules.
We are starting this issue off with two options that expand how Combat Skills are handled. One breaks the 5 skills down into 24 separate skills, and the other uses a Specialties system with the original skills.
Next up, we have decided to provide a simplified Armor Rating system that provides a single Armor Rating instead of the more detailed/complicated version in the core rules. We provide a new Armor table with the new ARs. We then take this concept and present all new Bestiary tables with the new Simplified AR rules. To these tables, we also add in a column for the Combat Value from Express Additions #6 and we also include a new descriptive element for creatures called Nature, which will give GMs some basic guidelines on how the different creatures will react.
Next up, we present a new option called Aiming Zones, which allows for a chance of hitting a specific body part.
We follow this with a few new Items of Power (originally introduced in Express Additions #1).
And we end the issue with the introduction of a few new weapons for your fighter types to play with.
